McPete is a tribute to childhood, imagination, and the unexpected memories that stay with us forever. Inspired by the old McDonald’s playgrounds, this painting was born from one unforgettable moment: one of my dad’s biker friends gifted our family an entire metal McDonald’s play structure, which we set up in our backyard. What felt ordinary to others became pure magic to me. The familiar cheeseburger stools and diner colors capture the joy of growing up, reminding us that some of our happiest memories come from the most unexpected gifts.
